Degree Tracker: Students
The Emory Degree Tracker is a tool within OPUS, which allows students, advisors, and administrators in nearly all programs the ability to monitor student progress toward fulfillment of major, minor, concentration, and certificate requirements. Ultimately, this will better position schools, users, and all involved stakeholders to realize a more successful advisement engagement and clearer pathways to on-time completion. We are excited that Degree Tracker is currently rolled out to about 90% of Emory’s academic entities and look forward to full utilization of the tool by all schools in the near future. We hope that students will find Degree Tracker beneficial as they transition through their academic journey and that it promotes the effort staff and administrators put in to facilitate students’ success.

Degree Tracker FAQ
The Emory Degree Tracker is an academic advisement tool, which allows students, advisors, and administrators the ability to monitor individual progress towards fulfillment of major, minor, concentration, and certificate requirements. This will better position Emory students to realize a successful advisement engagement and a clearer pathway to on-time completion.
The Advisement Report shows a student's progress against a currently declared program of study in their career (school). For instance, undergraduate students will be able to view their progress against their declared undergraduate major(s) and/or minor(s). The What-if report allows advisors and students to see how the classes a student has taken or is currently taking can be used to satisfy any program they have not yet declared. For instance, a student who is currently declared pre-med but is considering declaring as a 4+1 student for Cancer Biology/Translational Oncology can see what it would take to complete this program before declaring or committing to it.
The interactive report is the online version of the report you view in OPUS and expand or collapse as needed. The PDF is a full detail of the interactive report with all categories expanded. This report will often consist of several pages. The summary report is a 1-2 page PDF document that reports only the categories to be completed for a selected course of study and each category's current status.
A green check indicates that a category or component of a category has been successfully completed. A yellow diamond indicates that a category or component of a category has not been completed yet, but that the student is actively working to complete it.
