Issues & Feedback

The Emory Degree Tracker is a PeopleSoft tool, which allows students, advisors, and administrators the ability to monitor individual progress towards fulfillment of major, minor, and concentration requirements. Ultimately, this will better position Emory students to realize more successful advisement engagement and clearer pathways to on-time completion.

You can access the Emory Degree Tracker via OPUS by following the directions in the Administrative or Advisor Self-Service guides.

The relevant academic structure elements are as follows:

  1. Academic Career – This relates to the school (ex. Undergraduate Emory College, Undergraduate Nursing, Undergraduate Oxford, Undergraduate Business)
  2. Academic Program – For undergraduate students, the program is primarily Liberal Arts & Sciences or LIBAS
  3. Academic Plan – This relates to a student’s major or minor and is expressed via plan code (ex. RELBA, RELMIN, RELND, SOCBA, SOCMIN, SOCND)

To accomplish this, you would have to change the requirement term to 5199 in the “Plan What-If Data” section, on which the secondary plans resides. Since the secondary plans requirements mirror the primary, we’re asking you to test the primary plans only.

Each requirement belongs to a unique requirement group (RG), comprised of at least one requirement (RQ) and a corresponding line number (LN).  These references are helpful not only in determining the exact locations of issues, but also for student exception purposes later on.

For changes to references of when courses are typically offered, please contact Office of the University Registrar.
